Neeraj Chopra won the Gold Medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 Men's Javelin throw for India two days back and since from then it's pouring rewards for the "Golden Boy" from Khandra a village near Panipat. He has become the first Indian athlete to win gold ever. In the finals on his second attempt Neeraj Chopra threw his best 87.58m which claimed his first gold medal for India. The golden boy brought joy to 1.36 billion people of India and soon the netizens went crazy on Facebook, twitter on his success.
President Ram Nath Kovind said on Twitter, "Unprecedented win by Neeraj Chopra! Your javelin gold breaks barriers and creates history. You bring home first-ever track and field medal to India in your first Olympics. Your feat will inspire our youth. India is elated! Heartiest congratulations."
Also Prime Minster Narendra Modi has tweeted "History has been scripted at Tokyo! What @Neeraj_chopra1 has achieved today will be remembered forever. The young Neeraj has done exceptionally well. He played with remarkable passion and showed unparalleled grit. Congratulations to him for winning the Gold."

Sooner after this the rewards raining started for Neeraj Chopra. The athlete from Haryana has been honored by several state governments and private organizations. In this article we will see the list of rewards which our Golden boy bagged.
1. Haryana chief minister ML Khattar has announced that Neeraj Chopra will get cash reward of ₹6 crore.
2. Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh has announced a cash reward of ₹2 crore for Chopra.
3. The Board of control of India (BCCI) has announced a cash reward of ₹1 crore for Neeraj Chopra.
4. The India Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super King has announced a reward of ₹1 crore and interestingly they are presenting a jersey also to Chopra with number 8758 imprinted on it.
5. Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh has announced on twitter: "On this historic day where India bagged an Olympic Gold medal in an athletic event after 100 years, the Manipur State Cabinet has decided to honour the Javelin throw Gold medalist @Neeraj_chopra1 by extending a reward of ₹1 Crore. Congratulations on this historic win, Neeraj.
6. Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra has announced to give a brand new XUV 700 to Neeraj Chopra.
7. Leading realty firm Elan Group's chairman Rakesh Kapoor has announced a ₹25 lakh cash rewards for Chopra as reported by PTI.
8. Indian airliner IndiGo has announced unlimited free travel offer for one year for Neeraj Chopra.
9. And last but not the least Neeraj Chopra has earned respect and love from the people of India. He is our hero our Golden Boy.
We wish he will continue his form in the nex Paris Olympics 2024 as well and he will bagged the Gold medal again.
