February 2019
Raj Kundra's company Armsprime Media Private Limited was established with an authorised share capital of Rs 10 lakh. The company was said to be involved in sporting and other recreational activities. They developed a mobile application called Hotshot. This Hotshot app which is at the centre of controversy about the streaming of pornographic content. And Police and Crime brunch already took it down from the playstore.

Poonam Pandey came in the news when she collaborated with Armsprime Media for an app based on her. However a month later she told that she had terminated the contract.

December 2019
Poonam filed a criminal case against Raj Kundra in Bombay High Court. The allegation was that despite no contract, they continued to post her pictures and videos on the app.

Raj Kundra sold ‘Hotshots’ for $25,000 in 2019 to UK-based company Kenrin Pvt Ltd, which is owned by his brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi. According to Police Raj continued to supply content and controlled the UK company from his Viaan Industries office.
June 2020
Joint CP (crime) Milind Bharambe has reported that the Hotshots app was removed from the Apple store in June 2020, and from Google store in November 2020 based on complaints of pornographic content.
February 2021
According to PTI, an FIR was registered against Raj Kundra after a woman approached the police.Mumbai police then next raided a bungalow in Madh Island and busted a live porn video filmmaking racket. As part of the probe, actress and model Gehana Vasisth was arrested. She reportedly shot at least eight "pornographic and dirty" videos that were uploaded on a social media app.

Raj Kundra was called by the Property Cell of Crime Branch and arrested on July 19. He was then remanded to three days of police custody.
