1. In her childhood Sindhu didn't have the intention of becoming a badminton player as she told in an interview. Things started to change when the victory of Pullela Gopichand in the All England Open Badminton Championship in the year 2001. Her time pass sport became her passion and it was at the age of 8 that she seriously started practicing the sport.
